Please pray for my son, Austen (8th grader). He broke his arm in early April and is supposed to get his cast off tomorrow. Please pray for complete healing and that his elbow and arm will not be stiff or need therapy. He broke it right during baseball season and he was not very happy about missing half his season.

Please pray for my mom, Ann Schultz. She was released from the hospital this past weekend after having a blood clot in her lung and almost a liter of liquid around her lungs. She is still having a lot of problems and is very weak and still retaining liquid. She is also having trouble keeping her food down and swallowing. A therapist is supposed to come to the house today and see what help she needs. My dad is not being a very good nurse. In faith, Cheryl Schultz Vanek

This is an update on Lawrence Schultz's brain implant to control his seizures and give him back quality of life. I talked to Lawrence and he said the turn on date will not be until late June. He is still having lots of seizures and questioning why the implant couldn't have been in the "on" position to begin with. Please pray for him and his wife, Dominique. THey so want to live a normal life. Pray that he doesn't loose his hope. Your prayers make a difference. In faith, Cheryl

Please be in prayer for the family, friends and Vidor as well as his classmates in the loss of Jared Edwards. Jared drowned today at Lakeview sandbar. He was 15 and attended Vidor Junior High. My newphew, Adam was a friend and classmate, and is having a hard time with the loss.

Husband - Kirk needs prayer. He has the nasty habit of smoking and needs to quit to prevent damage to his body mainly his eyes and heart. Thank you for your prayers. We all know that God is good.

Shannon Fowler went to meet her Father this morning. She has served on many Walks with great joy; we will miss her terribly. I lost a dear friend. Please pray for her husband and her 3 girls. God bless.

We are asking for your prayers for the Chrysalis Community as we draw nearer to our flight times. We only have 2 girls and 1 boy signed up to go, and if we don't have 12 within 4 weeks our flights will have to be cancelled. Please don't let this happen! Everyone has worked so hard to make these flights happen for young people who need a weekend to draw nearer to our Lord. Remember the blessings you felt after your 3 day experience...we are offering this for young people and it could change their lives. Please mention this throughout your reunion groups, churches, youth groups, SS classes, etc. We need our Emmaus Community to sponsor young people for the flights. If you know of a youth that you may want to sponsor, please pray, talk with them, and get an application sent in! We have scholarships for youth. Please lift up Roger Durham(#67) and his family in your prayers as his mom, Laura Durham(Dannette Floyd's walk)prepares to go to her eternal home. She has been battling glioblastoma(brain cancer) the last year and seems to be taking a turn for the worse.

We know she loves the Lord deeply, she has been a wonderful witness to all whose path she crossed including mine! I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful mother n law and we are all going to miss her deeply.

Please pray for wisdom and guidance as decisions are being made. Thanks again for your prayers as the family goes through these difficult days ahead.
