 The purpose of Emmaus is to develop leaders for the church. Emmaus will inspire, challenge, and equip the local church members for Christian action in their homes, churches, and places of work. Emmaus lifts up a way for our grace-filled lives to be lived and shared with others. |

Chrysalis Community
My committee is the Chrysalis Steering Committee. Our function is to oversee the year to year activities of the Chrysalis Community, including the flights each year, selection of the Lay Directors for each flight, team selections for the flights, Hoots, Steering Committee meetings, etc. Our Committee is open to anyone who has a heart to work with youth. Our meetings are open to anyone and they take place the 2nd Monday of each month at Living Covenant Christian Fellowship on Eastex Freeway at 6:30pm. Chrysalis flights are 3 day events similar to Emmaus walks for young people ages 15 to18, or having just finished 9th grade through just finished 12th grade. Our weekends are evangelistic in nature and a young person need not necessarily be a member of a church to attend.
